Childhood's End - Arthur C. Clarke Classic, amazing, thought-ful and provoking. Sci-fi at its best. Interesting to me that Childhood's End is a page-turner, but not one that you want to gobble up. It didn't keep me up at night reading 'just one more chapter' - yet I didn't pick up another book in the meantime. The book is nourishing and satisfying. It was written over 50 years ago, yet I could not predict any of it. Highly recommended.
